We photographed these four kittens in late December. They are all destined for new homes thanks the rescue efforts of Rhonda with AK Cat. She provides a safe haven for kittens and mature cats and then finds homes - for thousands of cats.
Cat overpopulation in Alaska is rampant. Rhonda ensures that all cats she encounters are healthy and spayed or neutered before they are released to new homes.
