Paws of Light 2021 - December 5-9

Our family, friends and staff have hosted portrait fundraising events for Alaska non-profit organizations since 1989.

This holiday season, we’ve selected Kitty and K-9 Connection. We’ve known these folks for decades and love the work they do. They don’t grab many headlines for their efforts. Instead, their volunteers just forge ahead, one dog or cat at a time, and create love stories with their rescue and adoption efforts.

2021 Paws of Light mini-sessions will be limited to later afternoon and early evenings. After all, that’s when the pretty lights are at their best.

Each session will happen outside, just a few feet from the back door of our cozy studio. This will help minimize any health risks. BTW, David is fully vaccinated and boostered.

Helpful Instructions and Requests:

10821 Baronik Street
Go up O’Malley Road. About 1/2 mile past the Alaska Zoo you will take a Right on Baronik Street (one block before the Birch Road stop light.

The first Left on Baronik is the Jensen home and studio. The studio is at the end of the driveway.

• All dogs must be on leash.

• Please leave dogs in the car until we’re ready for you.

• Park in the driveway and allow access for others to leave.

• Masks requested when indoors. Please do not sign up if you’ve traveled within 48-hours of this event or have any suspicious symptoms.

How to see your Paws of Light portraits. (within 24-48 hours.)

When selecting your favorites, you must write down the reference number for each selection. Call or email with your selections. Your session includes a single image of your choice. If you paid for a double session, please select two images. Additional images can be purchased in digital format and as prints or other products. A price sheet is included in the online gallery.

We offer family, executive, high school senior, product and other services that help keep our lights on and dogs fed.
